Why you specifically
Thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn được tạo bằng have/has been + động từ thêm -ing. Thì này dùng để nói về một hành động bắt đầu trong quá khứ và vẫn đang tiếp diễn ở hiện tại, hoặc đã kéo dài đến hiện tại và người nói muốn nhấn mạnh thời lượng: I have been studying for three hours. Trong IELTS, thì này rất hữu ích khi bạn muốn diễn tả một quá trình còn đang diễn ra và có liên hệ trực tiếp với hiện tại. Điểm khác quan trọng với hiện tại hoàn thành đơn là: hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn nhấn vào quá trình và khoảng thời gian, còn hiện tại hoàn thành đơn nhấn vào kết quả đã hoàn tất, số lượng, hoặc факт là sự việc đã xảy ra. So sánh: I have been writing my report for two hours. = quá trình vẫn còn đang diễn ra. I have written my report. = báo cáo đã xong. Lưu ý: một số động từ chỉ trạng thái như know, believe, like, want thường không tự nhiên ở dạng tiếp diễn, nên khi cần hãy dùng dạng đơn.
The rule
The present perfect continuous is formed with have/has been + verb-ing. It shows an activity that started in the past and is still continuing now, or has continued up to the present with emphasis on duration: I have been studying for three hours. In IELTS writing and speaking, this tense is useful when you want to show how long something has been happening and that it is still relevant now. The key contrast with the present perfect simple is this: present perfect continuous focuses on the action and its duration, while present perfect simple focuses on the completed result, the amount, or the fact that something has happened. Compare: I have been writing my report for two hours. = the process is still going on. I have written my report. = the report is finished. Some stative verbs are less natural in the continuous form, such as know or believe, so use the simple form with those verbs when needed.

Use present perfect continuous to show an activity that started in the past and is still continuing now, with emphasis on duration.

Use have/has been + verb-ing to show that the action started earlier and continues up to now.
They wait for the bus for twenty minutes.
They have been waiting for the bus for twenty minutes.
For an action that is still continuing, English needs the present perfect continuous, not the simple present.
He lives in Hanoi for five years.
He has been living in Hanoi for five years.
Present perfect continuous is used for an activity or state continuing up to now; the simple present does not show that past-to-now duration.
