In, on, and at across clock time, dates, and periods.
Why you specifically

Dùng in cho tháng, năm, mùa, và các khoảng thời gian dài hơn như in the morning hoặc in the evening. Cần nhớ: at = giờ cụ thể; on = ngày/ngày tháng; in = tháng, năm, mùa, buổi trong ngày.
The rule
Prepositions of time are small but important words that show when something happens. Use at for exact times and fixed points such as 7:30, midnight, and noon. Use on for days and dates such as Monday, Friday, and 12 June. Use in for months, years, seasons, and longer parts of the day such as the morning or the evening. Some expressions are fixed, so it is best to learn them as chunks.
The trap

The meeting starts in 3 p.m.
The meeting starts at 3 p.m.
Use at with a specific clock time. In Vietnamese, the same preposition is often used for both time and date expressions, so learners may confuse at, on, and in.
We have a test in Monday.
We have a test on Monday.
Use on with days and dates. Vietnamese does not mark this distinction the same way, so on is often omitted or replaced with in.
She was born on 2001.
She was born in 2001.
Use in with years, months, and longer periods such as seasons. Vietnamese learners may use on or at before a year.
I usually study at the evening.
I usually study in the evening.
Use in with parts of the day like morning, afternoon, and evening, but not with exact clock times. Vietnamese speakers may say at the evening by transferring the general pattern of at + time.
