So tired was he that ... , in formal writing.
Why you specifically

Trong tiếng Anh trang trọng, có thể đảo trật tự từ để nhấn mạnh với so và such. Cách này thường gặp trong văn viết, bài diễn thuyết, hoặc văn phong văn học, không phổ biến bằng câu bình thường trong giao tiếp hằng ngày. Mẫu cơ bản là câu bình thường: He was so tired that he went straight to bed. Khi đảo, tính từ hoặc cụm danh từ được đưa lên đầu câu, còn trợ động từ đứng trước chủ ngữ: So tired was he that he went straight to bed. Với such, ta có các mẫu như Such was the noise that nobody could sleep hoặc Such a difficult exam was it that many students failed. Với so + tính từ/trạng từ cũng có thể đảo: So quickly did she finish the test that she checked her answers twice. Điểm quan trọng là phải giữ đúng thứ tự từ. Sau so hoặc such trong cấu trúc đảo, trợ động từ thường đứng trước chủ ngữ. Nếu viết theo kiểu bình thường, câu vẫn đúng, nhưng sẽ không còn là cấu trúc đảo nhấn mạnh nữa.
The rule
Inversion with so and such is a formal structure used for emphasis, especially in writing, speeches, and literary English. Normally we say: He was so tired that he went straight to bed. With inversion, the adjective or noun phrase moves to the front, and the auxiliary verb comes before the subject: So tired was he that he went straight to bed. Such inversion is common with such + be, such + noun phrase, and so + adjective/adverb. It is not used in everyday neutral conversation very often, and the word order must be exact. In particular, after so or such in inversion, the auxiliary verb usually comes before the subject, and the rest of the clause follows with that.
