Why you specifically
The rule
Will is used for future predictions, spontaneous decisions, and offers. In the affirmative, the pattern is subject + will + base verb: I will go, she will study, it will rain. For questions, will comes before the subject: Will you help me? In short answers, use will or won't. Do not use the -s form for future meaning here: It rains tomorrow is wrong unless you mean a timetable or routine, not a prediction.
